💼

The Role

As an appointment setter, your job is to reach out to warm leads — people who have already shown some interest — and qualify them for a discovery call with a closer. You're not closing deals yourself. You're having conversations, building rapport, and booking calls on behalf of the company.
Think of it like being the first impression. You start the relationship, spark the interest, and hand it off to the closer to seal the deal.
It's a communication role, not a traditional sales position. You don't need to pitch or pressure anyone. What matters more is being personable, coachable, and consistent. We've trained people from hospitality, customer service, teaching, and other backgrounds with zero prior sales experience — and they're now some of our top earners.
Not at all. This is one of the most flexible parts of the role. Many of our top-performing setters run entirely through text and email campaigns — no calls required — and achieve the same results as those who do call. You can choose the outreach style that fits your personality and lifestyle.
Your success is about consistency and communication, not about being on the phone all day.
The role is flexible, but we recommend committing 4–6 focused hours per day to see strong results. Most setters work their own schedule, fitting it around their current lifestyle. The more consistent and present you are, the faster you'll grow your income.
A typical day includes:
  • Reviewing your lead list and prioritizing follow-ups
  • Sending outreach messages (DMs, emails, or texts depending on the campaign)
  • Having conversations with interested leads to qualify and book them
  • Updating your CRM and checking in with your team lead
Most of the work happens through your phone or laptop — you could be working from a coffee shop, your couch, or anywhere in the world.
💰

Income & Pay

Realistically, most setters earn $3,000–$6,000/month in their first 60 days as they're learning. Within 3–6 months, consistent setters typically reach $6,000–$12,000/month. Our top performers earn $15k+ monthly. Your income is commission-based, so results are directly tied to your effort.
One of our reps brought in 8k/month as a setter and has since been promoted to manager — showing this path goes beyond just the setter role.
Pay is commission-based — you earn a percentage for every qualified appointment you set that converts. The exact structure is discussed during your discovery call since it varies based on the campaign you're placed on. Payments are made on a regular cycle, and everything is transparent from the start.
Typically, getting started in high ticket sales requires industry training and education — and that training does have a cost. However, if you're a good fit for our team and in decent credit standing, our company has a program to cover the full cost of all training so there is no out-of-pocket expense for you.
Your credit score isn't just a filter — it's part of how we determine eligibility for our company-sponsored training program. A 700+ score puts you in a strong position to have everything covered.

Getting Started

We use the credit score as a quick filter for financial discipline and seriousness. Select your score range in the application, then email a screenshot to highticket.hiring@highticketsalesedu.com. The clients you'll be setting appointments for are making high-ticket decisions — they need to trust that the people representing them are responsible, professional, and credible. A 700+ score signals the kind of mindset that succeeds in this role.
A 700+ score is our general guideline, but it's not an automatic disqualifier. If your score is 650 or above, go ahead and submit your screenshot — a specialized team member will personally review your application to see if we can work something out.
Below 650 we're unfortunately unable to move forward at this time, but scores between 650–699 are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Don't count yourself out — send it in and let us take a look.
Fast. Fill out the application form and select your credit score range. Then email your credit score screenshot to highticket.hiring@highticketsalesedu.com with subject "Application – [Your Name]". Our team matches it to your submission and reviews within 24 hours. From application to first day can be as little as 48 hours.
Just the basics:
  • A laptop or desktop computer
  • Reliable internet connection
  • A smartphone (for some outreach channels)
All scripts, tools, CRM access, and training materials are provided by us. You don't need to buy any software or subscriptions.
Every setter goes through an onboarding program covering the product, scripts, and outreach system. From there, you get coaching with a team lead who reviews your performance and helps you improve. We also have team calls, a shared Slack community, and regular training updates. You'll be trained on both call-based and text/email-based outreach so you can run the approach that works best for you.
Our best setters didn't come in knowing everything — they came in coachable and committed. That's what we invest in.
🎯

Is This Right For Me?

We believe in being upfront. This is NOT a fit if you:
  • Are looking for a passive income with minimal effort
  • Are uncomfortable having conversations with new people
  • Want a traditional 9-5 with a fixed salary guarantee
  • Are not open to feedback or changing how you communicate
If any of those apply, this probably isn't the right move right now — and that's okay.
In the first 30 days, we don't expect perfection — we expect effort and coachability. Success in month one looks like: completing onboarding, booking your first few qualified calls, and getting comfortable with the scripts. Most setters start seeing real momentum at the 45–60 day mark once the process feels natural.
One rep this week alone booked 7 deals in 3 days. That kind of result comes from consistency, not luck.
Yes — many of our setters start part-time while transitioning from a current job. The flexibility of the role makes it possible to run both. That said, the more hours you put in, the faster your results compound. Most people find themselves fully transitioning within 60–90 days once their income replaces their salary.
Absolutely. The setter role is a launchpad, not a ceiling. Top performers can move into closing (significantly higher commissions), team lead roles, or even building their own setter team. We promote from within and actively look for people who want to grow with us long-term.
